Flesh Tattoo Company was founded in 2006 and has strived to be a welcoming, clean, fun, safe space for tattoos and piercings in Harford County!  In 2023,  Meghan Schowe took over ownership of the shop and has since worked very hard to make the space even more inviting.  We are proud to have been named Harford's Best Tattoo Parlor every year for over a decade. We have taken utmost care to staff the most talented and caring artists - we want you to be able to trust that you will have the best experience with us and leave with something you are proud to wear and show off forever!

Meghan's Dad (Dave) battled cancer for several years before unfortunately succumbing to it in January of 2025.  Dave was her best friend and favorite human.  Every year the family would vacation in Ocean City, MD. and this became a lifelong happy place where Dave was able to retire and enjoy until the end.  When you are in the shop, you can see mementos of Meghan's love and admiration for her father in many different places.  Taking inspiration from surf shops and traditional tattoo art, you will find personal pictures, coordinates to Dave's beach house, OCMD stickers that were collected by Dave and other family members...Meghan wanted to create a space that he would have been proud of and where she could show a little more of herself to our clients.  Connecting to our customers and community continues to showcase that Flesh is more than just a tattoo shop - we want everyone that chooses us for their next tattoo or piercing experience to feel like they are part of our little shop family.
